Over the last few years, wallpaper has been making a comeback. Newer textures and more modern designs are available to bring your rooms into the 21st century. However, many people still suffer from the horrors brought about by wallpaper from the 20th century. Removal was difficult, and as a result unattractive prints remained on walls well past their prime. But you need not suffer from wallpapering PTSD. With the correct plan, it can provide nice detailing to an otherwise lackluster room.

Create the Illusion of High Ceilings
The ceiling is hardly something that a person notices when they walk into a room, at least not consciously. However, whether you notice it or not, a ceiling does impact the way that you perceive a room – as demonstrated in another one of my articles, “The 5th Wall.” High ceilings make a room feel open and spacious. While, a low ceiling can either create a cozy feel, or a closed in feel. It all depends on how the rest of the room flows into the ceiling. So, l thought I would share with you how to create the illusion of high ceilings.
Home Theater Reveal
I am so excited to be able to finally bring you all my home theater reveal. I wasn’t sure if I was ever going to be able to write an article on this project, because I had inadvertently deleted most of the photos documenting the process. However, I recently located an old iPhone that had been misplaced. Luckily, it had a few images that had been taken during the process. Not as many as I would have liked, and certainly not very good quality, but I am making do.
